Persistent post-surgical pain? You are not alone.

Post-surgical pain is an extremely common occurrence. Surgeons rarely follow-up to see if patients are recuperating well after surgery. As a chiropractor, I see many patients suffering the after-effects of surgery many years after their operation. This might include pain, swelling, a limited range of motion, or scarring.

In one study, they calculated the percentage of patients who had moderate to severe pain one or more years after surgery. In many of these surgeries, more than 50% of patients develop chronic pain, yet surgeons have no idea this happens. The table below lists common surgical procedures that I’m sure you, or those around you have had. However, the odds are that many of you are still suffering the painful after-effects.

In my experience, I have never heard of any technique or device that consistently and rapidly eliminates pain, even chronic pain, as PNT and the Brain Reflexes. From my experience, the pain that patients experience stays gone after one or more treatments.

There are countless patients who have severe pain post-surgery even after their doctors assure them they won’t. I saw a patient today who had crippling post-surgical pain, which then developed into Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, also known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. It was so severe that he had to be driven to have a second surgery, which only caused further damage. He told me his surgeon was completely unaware of any potential possibility of post-surgical pain, yet statistics show it’s extremely common.

Many patients suffer from different kinds of post-surgical pain, yet many have given up hope of relieving their chronic pain. Book an appointment at Sinclair Chiropractic to discover how Pain Neutralisation can help.
